Val di Peio is a small, hidden valley in the Ortles Group in the heart of the Stelvio National Park. Peio is surrounded by some of the highest peaks in Trentino: Cevedale (3,764 m), Palon de la Mare (3,703 m), Vioz (3,644 m) and San Matteo (3,684 m). Here the ski area Pejo3000 invites you to ski. On the valley floor are the villages of Celentino, Strombiano, Comasine, Celledizzo, Cogolo, the municipal seat. Further up in the Stelvio National Park are Peio Fonti and Peio Paese.
